  • Full name — displayed in your profile and business records
  • Phone number (optional) — for account identification

2.2 Business Data

  • Business name, category, and location
  • Product and inventory records
  • Sales transactions and payment records
  • Expense records
  • Employee and team member information
  • Customer names and contact details (if entered)

2.3 Device Permissions

  • Camera — used only when you choose to scan barcodes or capture product images. We do not access your camera in the background.
  • Storage — used to save exported reports, receipts, and PDF documents to your device.
  • Internet — required to sync your data securely with our servers.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • General usage analytics (e.g., feature usage frequency)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Famaapp service
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • Sync your business data across devices
  • Generate business reports and analytics for you
  • Send important service notifications (e.g., subscription status)
  • Provide customer support

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Your data is stored securely on Supabase cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL).
  • Business PINs are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plaintext.
  • Row Level Security (RLS) ensures you can only access your own business data.
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access.

5. Data Sharing

We only share your data in the following limited circumstances:

  • With your team — Business data is shared with employees/members you invite to your business.
  • Service providers — We use trusted third-party services (Supabase for database, cloud hosting) that process data on our behalf under strict data protection agreements.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data at any time through the app
  • Update your profile and business information
  • Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
  • Export your business data (sales reports, inventory records)
  • Withdraw consent for optional data collection

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

Famaapp is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
